The Triad Rugby Club was formed in 1981 as a merger between the Winston Salem and Greensboro clubs. Triad is currently playing in Division III in the North Carolina Rugby Union, which is a member of USA Rugby South. Over the last 28 years Triad has enjoyed an illustrious record and made appearances in the all levels of the South Tournament. The 2000's have been particularly fruitful with Triad winning 4 state titles and advancing to the South Quarterfinals in 2005, the Semi-finals in '07, '09 and the South Finals in '08. 2010 we were able to advance to the first round of the national playoffs and expect to get there again in 2011.
